Antifouling Services

Antifouling paint protects your hull from marine organisms that can cause harm (e.g. barnacles and algae) and is considered a crucial part of maintaining your vessel. However, it should only be undertaken by marine professionals who know how to ensure the antifouling paint is applied correctly.

How does antifouling paint work?

Antifouling paint releases a wide range of bioactive ingredients that prevent marine organisms from attaching/damaging the hull.  If your boat lives in the water, antifouling should be checked once a year. Whereas if you keep your vessel in storage for extended periods and it is washed down, antifouling every other year may suffice.
