Shipyard in Connecticut
Located on Long Island Sound, just off Interstate 95, is the East Coast's newest international shipyard, Bridgeport Boatworks.
Bridgeport was first established in July 2018, with the intent to deliver top-rated in-house and contracted services to the marine industry. Since then, it has grown to over 50,000 sq. feet of inside workspace and it is continuing to expand its premises to deliver a wide range of services, including 24-hour emergency hauling, yacht refit and repairs.
In fact, there is now a dedicated space for world-class sailmakers North Sails, who are also headquartered at Bridgeport Boatworks.
What's next?
As an East Coast shipyard, Bridgeport has always been part of the wider business community, providing stable jobs and bringing economic growth to the area. However, we now partnered with Porter & Chester to deliver life-changing scholarship opportunities to local students.

Multispecialist Shipyard
Only a short 20-minute drive from New Haven and an hour away from Manhattan, Bridgeport is considered the best Connecticut shipyard.
We take care of your vessel as if it were one of our own and always endeavor to meet the highest standards possible. We offer a wide range of specialized services for the maritime industry including:
Hauling: We house a 700ton Marine Travel Lift, one of the largest offered by any shipyard on the east coast, as well as 200 ton and 75ton versions of the Marine Travel lift. So, our hauling capabilities can cover a range of different sized vessels.
Storage solutions for yachts: Reasonably priced and reliable, with 24 hour security, our storage facilities are home to vessels from all over New York, Connecticut and surrounding states.
We offer the following storages dates with haul and launch in the Spring:
Summer Storage - May 1st - October 31st
Winter Storage - November 1st - April 30th
Fuel Dock: If you are looking to fill up your vessel locally or on route to another location our new fuel dock is open every Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 4:00 pm.
